ENGCOMP presented case study at the first
Palisade Energy Risk Analysis forum
On September 25th, 2008 Jason Mewis (ENGCOMP
President) presented a case study at the first Palisade Energy
Risk Analysis forum in Calgary.
The case study, entitled "A Refined Approach
for Defining Construction Project Uncertainty" covered an
overview of ENGCOMP's process for quantifying both Contingency
and Risk Reserve for capital construction projects and included
concepts like Calibration Training and Risk Register Brainstorming.
The forum was a one-day event covering risk
and decision analysis specific to the energy sector in Western
Canada focusing on an audience representing Oil & Gas, Renewable
Energy, Utilities and related Engineering Services.
